BVRT "Get Into Gravel"
"Get Into Gravel" is an entry level gravel experience for those people looking to give gravel riding a go to see what its all about. It's for the new gravel rider with little or no experience. The day will start with some basic skills and bike set ups before heading along the BVRT from Toogoolawah to Linville a distance of 34kms.
This event will be held on Wednesday 10 August which is the Brisbane Ekka Holiday starting at Toogoolawah at 8.30am.
The riding will be done at an easy pace but you will need to be able to ride the 34kms so will need a reasonable level of cycling fitness.
Once at Linville we will have lunch at the lovely Linville Hotel before transferring everyone back to Toogoolawah where the event will conclude at approximately 2.30pm.
The cost for the day (not including lunch or hire bikes) is $60pp.
You are welcome to bring your own bikes provided they are suitable for off road riding. E-bikes are welcome. Hire gravel bikes are available for the day at $60 each but you will need to book one as numbers and sizes are limited.

Suitable Bikes
For this event MTB and gravel bikes are both suitable along with E versions of both of these.
The event is NOT suitable for road or commuting style bikes. Gravel bike hire is available for an additional charge.
